How I Came to Know the Church Life
One day, my daughter met a friend at school. The parents of this girl invited my daughter to have lunch after school. After some days I went to visit this family. They received me and invited me to come to one of their church meetings. At the end of 1991 I began coming to meetings of the local church and I have been meeting here now for some years. It is wonderful how I was attracted to pursue after Christ, to deny myself, and to live a life together with all the members of the Body of Christ.
Thanks be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ who according to His great mercy regenerated us unto a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from among the dead (1 Peter 1:3).
In 1992 I received the Lord Jesus as my Savior. “But as many as received Him to them He gave authority to become the children of God, to those who believe into His name; who were not born of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God” (John 1:12-13).
